Im the kind of person who likes to take trips down memory lane. So being that person I often visit old memories of Zach and I when we were dating.
I also think that it is really important to always remember why and when we fell in love.
A couple nights ago that lead me to ask him the question "why did you marry me?" Not in an obnoxious, whiney type of way-just a curious one. I realized that I knew the obvious reasons but I had never asked him and was curious to hear his response.
People often ask why we got married so young and I know my answer but wondered what his was.

"Ha its funny that you ask me this today.
I have been thinking about it a lot actually. The reason I married you is because....
I love you like I have never loved anyone else before.
From the very first time we dated there was something about you that was very different from everyone one else.
I loved to love you, and you loved to love me. I knew that I would never again find someone that I loved like you, and that loved me the way you did.
No one has ever loved me like you. I had to marry you.
I think I usually tell people that we got married because I was leaving and stuff and I didn’t want to break up, which is true but that is just part of it.
I couldn’t stand the idea of losing you if I left you behind, yea we could have waited, but why delay the inevitable.
I see where we are now and I cant imagine if we would have waited. Look at all the experiences we would have missed out on.
We could still be together, but we would have different lives than we do now. "
I know our marriage is young, we are young, everything about us is young.
But I know love and I've known it since I looked at Zach for the first time.
In our young marriage we have experienced more than some people experience in a lifetime.
There are peaks and valleys,
A lot of high times...
But some low.
There have been celebrations and tribulations.
And we have always come through everything clinging tighter to eachother than ever before.
I know God is going to use us for something big and Im so excited to follow Him together.
